Arrow DXinstruments

Where can i find some really good sounding DXi plug-ins?
The instruments that came with Sonar are strictly OK. I imagine that there are lots out there- I'm hoping that some will be free or cheap. But if i have to pay for the good ones, so be it!

Actually I don't think there are too many yet. And I doubt free or cheap ones are gonna sound that great to you if you think Tassman is only "strictly OK."

TASSMAN looks pretty cool, though glitchy in SONAR ..........it sounds great...just don't use it.

two plug ins (DXi) that work well in SONAR are ReValver and Battery. i'm running both plugs in real time with SONAR set for 2ms latency, which is probably less than 6ms effectively, a guess , since i have no way to measure this......but things sound and look very responsive.

with a VST wrapper like the one from FXPANSION, you can use any VST instrument as a DXi.....the wrapper is stable...FXPANSION has a freebie drum sampler that will work with SONAR...may even be DXi...haven't checked.
