roland gr-33 guit synth and xp50

I love both units. However, I find that the XP50 doesn't seem to track as well as the GR-33 unit, when used as a sound module. It still works pretty good, but not as good as the GR-33 by itself. Anyone else notice this?....or a similar situation. Plus, changing *bend range* info on all the patches everytime you change, when just hunting, and stuff like that seems tedious. Am I going about something wrong. The GR-33 manual is great, and the unit easy to understand. The xp50 manual is wierd...like all other roland manuals, in general. I've had the xp50 for 5 years now, and I know there is a truck load of stuff, I still do not know it is capable of doing...or how to get there. Plus....how and where do I set up/get a patch librarian with my PC.....?? And...can I dump xp50 patches into my GR33?? A lot of questions...sorry...but I could use the help...or a point in the right direction.
