I sing all my choruses: chrs1 -- chrs 2 --- chrs 3
all 6 part harmonies, now I'm getting a lil' lazy and want to bounce, but what I found is that when I do bounce with the BRC to the next adat, I can only bounce in the SAME EXACT spot. So like, if I did 1 chorus, stacked it well to perfection, then COPY that, I can only place it in the same exact spot on the second adat, when I really want to place it 00:00:25:50 and at 00:00:75:50 on the second adat, then bounce that back to the first one. So that all my choruses can be on 6 tracks but on the FIRST adat. I've been sampling my choruses and flying them in, it's easy and useful, but can someone relay a way to do this with the BRC. OPTICALLY I understand it all, but I want to be able to place it verse - 1st chorus- verse - (insert here) 2nd chorus - verse - bridge - (insert here) 3rd chorus |

Tape offset between machines allows you to time offset one machine relative to another, meaning you can fly parts in and out anywhere, simply by time-shifting the machine back or forward to place it where you need to.
This has nothing to do directly with the BRC, you can do this without the BRC also - at least, you can on XT20s. Bruce |
