DM Pro mutes one channel at start of song

DM Pro mutes one channel at start of song

I'm running midi drum tracks from Cake 8 to drive the DM Pro. If I start from the very top of the song, the right channel mutes. If I restart anywhere else in the song, both channels work fine.
Anyone know what could cause this?
