Just bought the Yorkville ysm1's. I can't afford $200-$300 to spend on an amp right now, so I thought I could pick up something used on ebay. Besides the samson, what are some amps to look for? Model numbers too please. Thanks!

If you can't afford to spend 2-3, what can you afford to spend? Can't help w/o a price range...

PS that's not much money. You're going to have to do a lot of searching.

Look for carver or phase linear amps. Not only are they the best money can buy but nowdays home theatre guys are dumping the two channel ones in favor of dolby digital 5 channel ones.

I got my carver for 20.00 and you cant beat it.
