Panning to mix please help me

Hello, as I proceed in the next step of my production I have additional questions.
I have a Korg D 16 multitrack recorder that has 8 single tracks named 1 to 8 with Pan control and paired tracks named 9/10-11/12-13/14-15/16 with Pan control named balance.

Actually I have recorded stereo sounds on paired tracks (i.e. 9/10 - 11/12 - 13/14 etc etc). Additionally I have some other mono sounds (from the mono exit of the synth) recorded on the remaining single tracks (i.e 6,7,8)

Now, I am bouncing all above tracks on track 1&2 to be my final production as left channel (track 1) and right channel (track 2).
Can you please confirm or deny the following procedure??

1) I will put in play all the tracks except 1&2 that will be in record mode
2)Will check levels and set the machine to bounce mode
3) To mantain stereo sounds of tracks 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16 i will keep the pan in this case named "balance" centered.
4) The other sounds of tracks 7, 8 I can decide where to pan
depending from the sound, instrument etc etc
5) After recording, to produce the stereo master, Tracks 1 SHALL BE fully panned to the left and track 2 SHALL BE fully panned on right ??

Am I ok, or better go for a musical course ??

What you have described is correct.
I'm a little unsure of what you mean at step 5.
Tracks 1 & 2 will be your final stereo mix. And you should leave the panning controls centered to keep the stereo "image" you have created.
It might be better to do your mixdown to one of the stereo pairs (15/16 for example.) I know the Korg D8 can record tracks to themselves along with the other tracks. For example The D8 tracks are numbered 1 - 6 mono and 7/8 is a stereo pair. I might have a sub-mix or stereo sounds on 7/8 and 1 - 6 full of mono instruments. I can mixdown all 6 tracks plus 7/8 to 7/8 as my final stereo mix. 7/8 records to itself while 1-6 records to there as well. Can the D16 do this? If it can't, maybe you could transfer one of the stereo pairs to tracks 1 & 2, and then mixdown to a stereo pair.

Hes right about mastering to the stereo tracks instead of the mono ones.

and it sounds better if the pans arnt hard right and hard left

it will keep separated speakers from having a hole in the image.

Macca, tks and.....

You asked me about point 5. In my understanding and when playing back, I had to clearly identify the left channel (track1) and the right channel (track 2) panning them hard left and hard right; isn't so ???
Or maybe shall I hard panning 1&2 as a setting just before i record them ?? (and center panning when playing ??)
(Actually I left them panned centered while recording)
Just to wrap up !
-Stereo tracks panned centrally
-mono tracks assigned panning depending fromt the image
- when bouncing to 1&2 shall I keep their pan hard left and hard right or always central position (both while recording and listening??)

Yes ...

Correct again.

When recording to a track you do pan that track to its left or right position to receive the incoming signal. I'm not sure how that will work when recording the stereo mix from different tracks though. You may have to experiment.
Thats why it's better to mixdown to a stereo pair.

(When playing back the tracks, you would 'centre' the pan knobs.)
