Talking amidst the quiet of the boards...

I've been feverishly delving into audio-geekdom once again, and produced a feisty like number I'd like to submit to the forum for feedback.

"Lies To Tell" is the said piece and can be located at http://mp3.com/ulcerate for those who can spare time out of their day.

Gear: cheap guitar, cheap bass, Line 6 guitar and bass PODs, Line 6 DL-4, ebow (of course!) Rode NT-1 mic, Behringer mixer, home-made and pro samples/loops, hands, throat & bollocks.

Of note: weird e-bow & reverse reverb setting on DL-4 guitar track which kicks in at the start of the second verse and in spots thereafter. The delay time and repeats are setting at the "off" position giving this weird "recorded in a metal sewer pipe-ish" sound, which is even weirder when you throw in the ebow.

Cheers, big ears-es

Simon

Never quite thought of it as a blast :P

I guess it is for some....for me it's possibly somewhere between masturbation and being cathartic

A release in more ways than one...
