Tom Cram is on a distinguished road
Arrow

I've been messing with it a bit. My impressions are that I would use the Mini Pre as a tube DI or a tube coloration device. I've been thinking of it as an accessory and use it along with my other DI boxes, adapters, etc. Pretty much how I would use the ART Tube MP. Is it a step up from soundcard pre-amps and the like? Absolutely yes. Here are it's specs.

Mic Input
Connector Balanced XLR
Impedance 2k Ohms
Max Input Level +10dBu
CMRR > 80dB @1kHz
EIN -125 dBu A weighted

Line input
Connector ¼" TS Jack Unbalanced
Impedance >1 meg Ohm
Max Input Level +20dBu
Max Gain +60dB

Outputs
Connectors XLR Balanced, ¼" balanced
Impedance XLR: 600Ohm, ¼"600 Ohm
Max Out Level XLR:+27dbu, ¼" +21 dBu

System Performance
Freq Response 10Hz to 45kHz (+0, -3dB)
THD + N <0.08% Typical

Power Supply Rating 1300milliamps
