My name is Brad, and I am a gear slut...

Is there a 12 step program for this problem? I need to find one.

I am about to shoot fireworks out of my ass because I will be receiving my Triton Rack in a couple of days. Who cares if I need a new car? Who cares that I am in debt (again) I'VE GOT GEAR ON THE WAY!! I'm a gear slut in the worst way - it seems that I hump the UPS man's leg every time I see him. I need help.

Anybody else have a Triton or Triton rack? These things are awesome - I pissed myself with glee the first time I heard it.

It's expandable?? Oh, then I must need more GEAR!

GEAR!

GEEEEAAAAAARRRRR!

That wouldn't be a good step regebro, I don't want to pass this dibilitating problem on to anyone else.

You can be my sponsor, though. I can call you in the middle of the night when the urge to buy gear strikes.

Congratulations on the Triton Rack. I've got a Korg 01/W that I love but the keyboard has cost me a fortune to repair and it's on it's last legs. I wish I would have bought the rackmount version of it because I still like the sounds and it took me years to program the sounds to get them just like I want.

I've given up fighting being a gear slut. Maybe in the future they will sell gear in an IV drip bag, and you can just inject it directly into your body.

The triton is better than crack. Happy you got your fix. Please tell us about it after you regain your sight from the UPS man's pepper spray.

Brad,

join the club.
im a "gear slut" too! bet you're not as bad as me though! i used to be really bad, and i ended up with so much gear, i bought a building and made a 5-studio recording facility. the triton rack is AMAZING. i have the rack and two workstations. the rack has that mlan thing expansion thing which is still being developed as far as i know. the sounds are just amazing. better than the trinity, but still , the trinity is an amazing keyboard.

HAH! I can add the Trinity sounds with the optional MOSS expansion board! Yeah, this thing is so detrimental to my sleep. I just can't stop playing with it.

I think I drooled on it last night.

Viva GEAR!!

Long Wave, you sound like the kind of gear slut I aspire to be.
Perhaps in one of those rooms in your studio, you could set up a 12 step program for people like us. The only catch is that we don't want to stop!

VIVA GEAR!!!!!!

Smile

I recorded a band this past weekend, and their keyboard player has the Triton workstation. That board sounds awesome. I wish I could afford one, but I need to get a few things paid off before I can even think about it. For now I will stick with my Korg X5 and Alesis S4.
