I've mentioned something like this before, but no one ever responded or offered...
right now, I can't track because of a million reasons, but I really want to tinker around with some new stuff. Is anyone willing to send me a bunch file of a song or 3 and let me mix and fuck with it? I want something with a mic'ed kit (at least the "kick-snare-and-a-pair") and preferably something slightly heavy with clean and dirty parts, but anything would be cool.

Sorry, can't help you... never miked a kit in my life. Maybe the problem is that a lot of the folks here are into mixing themselves. Good luck!

I could send you some Acid loops. Their recorded live, one shots or entire kits. I use it w/ CWPA9, just insert as a wave. It sounds REAL!

PS.When & how do I insert a pic or signature beside my name on the msg boards?

In your profile, choose edit options and down at the bottom of the list you can change your avatar but you can only pick from the list they have there. But after you get 250 posts you can then add (make) your own "custom avatar".
