I recently got an extra mic stand that came with a Nady mic for free. It wasn't that bad. It's someting that I would even consider for live vocals in a jam. I am in the market for a patch bay and I noticed that Nady is once again the chaepest I could find. Are their products cheap crap, or a bang for your buck?

Well, I dunno about how good they are, but you're right - they sure are turning up cheap; I got a Nady "StarPower" SP-1 microphone for under $10.00 (with a wildly feverish list of "$65") to fill out a minimum online order.
We'll see. Always figure you can't enough weird microphones. Funky-looking thing. Might work. |

The only Nady stuff I have used are a few wireless's for guitar. Notice I said a few - they were cheap - but I needed more than one because they had a tendency not too work too long. I guess from my limited experience I would stay away from the.
As far as a patchbay goes - AMS, GC or Mars usually has specials on ones e.g. Rean, AP or other decent stuff at good prices. My bet is a cheap one would be noisy (poor contacts) and that a good one is not that much more. My $.02 |
