What the heck am I doing wrong!

I just invested in some commercial soundfonts from EMU for my SB Live! card. Heres the problem:

In CWPA8 I load a soundfont into Bank 1, and assign some cool patch to a couple of tracks. So far so good. Now I load a second soundfont into bank 2. I can now assign patches to some more tracks - no problem. BUT now the patches from Bank 1 have changed. The patch name is the same but it's not playing the same sounds.

Any ideas?

Sounds like maybe you have the same MIDI channel set for both tracks.

I recently had the same problem working with midi. AlChuck is right, change the channels and you should hear the different soundfonts
