lemonsucker is on a distinguished road
weird keyboard question

in the past months, i needed synth sounds to go with my recordings, and i bought a retro as-1 software synth, which really worked great for me (maybe it's a total crappy piece of equipment, but being a total keyboards and synths novice i didnt understand it!!!!) and fitted pretty well in my songs.

but now i have to take these songs on the road, and of course i can't carry my pc onstage (i don't trust windows ME that much!!!!).
but i need similar sounds on a keyboard.

now, is there any keyboard fitted with sounds in the same style as the ones in retro as-1? i think they're supposed to sound analog or something. i really don't understand that stuff... any help will be appreciated!

Buy an old sampler, like an ensoniq eps-16 and sample the sounds you want...... I know it's only 8 bit (I think), but if your playing live, your audience wont know the difference..... You could get a used one for $400 US or even less.......
