I'm Belgian. Way better than dutch, and fully compatible!! With 'zachte gee' and everything.

Scrubbing means 'schrobben'. Way out of the recording context. Haven't used that function on my VS1880 yet, so I have no idea what it is supposed to do...

FOH means Front Of House. This refers to the speakers in front of the 'house' (next to the stage). The FOH mix is what you hear through the speakers, and the FOH mixer is that ugly guy in the middle/back/side of the room playing with the little knobs and tiny lights, ussualy refered to as 'Ed'.

"Scrubbing" is a technique for determining a position in a recorded medium by listening to the recording _while_ adjusting the song position. In a sense it is like turning off the motor on a turntable and using your fingers to rotate the record forwards and backwards to locate a position in a song.

On the VS-series, the scrub feature plays a small loop of the track being scrubbed. Thus, a scrubber will hear the tones around the song position, even while the position marker is stopped. This helps to locate points in a waveform for cutting, pasting, and erasing portions of the track.

Hope that one's better than the one for the VS-880.

Also, Roel, hope you've checked out www.vsplanet.com
Awesome resource for the VS-series.
