New Carvin Studio Monitors?

Saw these in a magazine the other day, looked like a descent monitor with a switch on the front that changed the EQ range of the speaker so that it was somewhat colored as a pair of normal stereo speakers, or in the other position very clean for studio monitoring. It kinda looks like you would get 2 speakers for the price of one. At least thats kinda what they are using for a selling point. Great price,,, I just have never any gear made by Carvin. Any thoughts from you guys on these.

not too sure about these myself....Id trust Carvin for live sound, but Ive never seen Carvin equip. in a studio....definitely would have to hear these.....

I use a buch of carvin gear in the studio. They have been great to me and I love their stuff. The moniters got a great review in home recording magazine for their price range. Woth a shot. I'd buy them.
