Anybody familiar with Behringer 602A?

I talked an online friend into recording her song demos
(okay, "predemos") onto her computer in Cakewalk. And then
I saw a little mixer, the Behringer 602A for $100 that I thought
would fit her needs.

I have a Mackie 1604 that I use to feed my sound card. I send
the signal out through the alt 3/4 output then bring the computer
in on a regular input. I thought she could do something similar
on her little mixer. I suggested the main out into the computer
then bringing the soundcard back into the mixer using the
"auxiliary". She's not able to do this and I'm not sure where
the problem is since she's in New Jersey and I'm in Texas.

Will this mixer not do this? Did I give her a bum steer in suggesting this mixer? Any suggetions would be much
appreciated.

I have the MX802a and soundblaster. I run the main outs of the mixer into my soundcard. Then I run the line out from the soundcard into one of the stereo channels of the mixer. I have to make sure the software mixer is setup to record "line in". Your friend might want to check out the software mixer to make sure the inputs aren't muted...
