cd burner recommendations wanted

I am setting up my first studio with Mac G4. and wondering whether to get a cd burner with SCSI, Firewire, or USB connectors. Is Firewire stable enough for music? Any advantages/disadvantages I should be aware of? Also interested in what brands/models others have liked/disliked.

Plexor CD burner. Rock solid.

Plextor...none others considered. So...you may save $40 on another brand... save the frustration.

unfortunately, I am PC based....so can't help you on the Mac questions..but my SCSI 12/4 Plextor has burned 1000's ...yes many, many CDs, for three years+ now, and I only choked up ONE buffer underrun...(done in my first 5 burns..when I was a burning idiot!!).

Plextor looks great. I've read some great reviews. But I didn't see any that were Mac compatible. Are there...?
