Where can I find schematics for mic preamps?
Where can I find schematics for good, transparent, mic preamps? I'm looking for plain preamps with balanced ins, phantom power and phase shift.
I tried searching ye olde web but I get so many and vague results and would like to get some pointers from people here who are also interested in the art of the soldering iron. Thanks /Ola |

Ola,
I have found a few recources; Pat's Tube Schematics http://nanimo.ark.com This seems to be the most detailed and not all of them are tube. His site is closed till July 1 as he is on vacation Ampage http://firebottle.com AMZ CD www.muzique.com The last two are more guitar related but may have some good links and references. Parts Express wich advertises on this web site is a good source supplies. Let me know if you try any of them I am interested in doing some stuff from Pats but I can't even afford the parts right now |

Great, one of the companies is Swedish. I'll see if I can translate the Jansen models to the other brands.
Thanks. |

Ola,
I'm also interested in building a good mic pre, not a paia kit or something like that. Could you mail me if you find some thing of worth? Write in swedish if you like. Perhaps we can help each other out... Fimpen fimpen@multi.fi PS. try epanorama.net They have links to many good sites |
