Bank select JV-1010 from FATAR controller

The bank select for JV-1010 requires a controller number 0 message(MSB) followed by a number 32(LSB) message.

Instructions for the FATAR StudioLogic 161 controller are extremely vague. It seems to say: 1) enter edit mode and select Bank Select, 2) input the LSB number, 3) then hit the -/H key to designate it as the controller 32 message, 4)input the MSB number 5) exit edit mode.

Does this sound right? I know this sounds complicated but I'm hoping I have a common setup or at least this is a standard protocol.

I'm having no luck with my keyboard, but I've setup all the bank select commands in Logic and it works perfectly.
