Recording input???

I don't have a DAW on my Notebook and I need to use it as a back up for a live recording.

I have Reaper up and running, but can't figure out how to set the recording input. (I'm using my notebooks 1/8" line-in jack) I have sound via windows sound recorder. I just don't know how to select it via Reaper. (I tried both the line in and mic in)

The i/o button only lets me select the output...

You may need to go to the main menu bar, click 'options', 'preferences', 'Audio' then 'devices' and see if you need to set it there.
