Does Reaper do it? Can you use it to load in audio and slow down it down while maintaining pitch to learn solos?

It sure does.
![]() You can use the playrate slider at the bottom to speed up or slow down playback (right-click to preserve pitch) You can also time stretch recorded/imported items by holding alt and dragging either edge of the clip. Alt + Enter will bring up the project settings where you can specify the project's default pitch/time stretching algorithm. F2 will allow you to do it per-item. |

Thanks!
Can you slow it down a lot, or just a little?
I don't have Reaper, but if it does what I'm looking for easily, then I'll get it.

I'm not at home right now but I think the max speed is 4x and min speed is .25. There is a playrate slider next to the transport that allows you to adjust it to whatever speed you want.
You can also right-click the playrate slider and change the minimum and maximum speeds if you would like. I suggest you just download it and try it. The installer is only 4mb and it has an uncrippled 30-day trial. ![]() |
