Looking for guitarist in Central Indiana

Hell all. I am looking for a serious guitarist in the east central Indiana area that wants to work on new material. I am a singer and songwriter but my skills are lacking in the guitar playing area. I have a good amount of original songs.

Well, I'm looking for a new band, basically, or at least a singer. Check out my tune in the MP3 clinic, and if you like, we might be able to arrange something. I'm in Ky, so I'm not too awful far. Desperate for a good singer thats not strung out.

Nice song, good sound and orginal structure. Here's the deal with me. I am not looking for fame, a chorus of screaming chicks would not break my heart, but it is not my intention. I would be just as happy creating a song that moves people to the emotion that caused me to write it, let someone else be the media darling and, just kick back and take some royalties knowing that my message was heard. If fame comes and I'm on the stage when it comes calling I am prepared for that as well. So many people wonder aimlessly from job to job and never find what they really need because they are too busy with the bells and wis, want this, need that. Me, I guess I'm kinda strange. I could care less. I only want to sing. I have something to say to this world and if I could do that the rest just doesn't matter. It is my purpose for being here. I won't be pretencious in thinking that the world needs to hear what I have to say, prob keep spinnin without my input, but that it is all I want to do in it. I AM NOT a musician by your standard, you are far more equip in that area and I'd be embarrassed to pick up a guitar in your studio. But what I have is heart, and melody in my viens. I write songs that mean something and that says something. My voice? God I hate the part when everyone wants to know who you sound like, Well I don't care to mimick and"sound" like anything except what my heart is communicating through that song. Sometimes its angry with a slight raspiness, other times it's bluesy and contrite. I'm not a copycat. It is original. I could , and have in the past (band: DECADE ATL GA. 85 - 88) do many covers very closely like the original singer, but I don't like shadows. I quite getting "high" 3 yrs ago and other than a beer at times I'm pretty str8. I work like this, I have a song in my head I want to let out, I sing it sometimes with a basic guitar melody, but mainly just the song, then give it to a REAL musician to work on the melody/lead/etc. Or a melody/ riff is given to me and I come up with the lyrics and vocals. I had a fella that I did some work with but he had a child and lost interest in the "pipe dream". We clicked very well and he was an amazing guitarist. (Sad, the rest of his life the person he wanted to be, will be caged inside the person he becomes, and on quite nights will scream out to him and nothing will quite the screams) I am looking for: Someone who not only has the tallent, there's plenty of fine musicians working at factories all over the world, but someone with a heart for expression. Not the "I'm gonna make it" attitude but the "this is me and what I do" attitude. "Making it" is subjective to your own interpretations. I have already "made it" just by being true to my heart.

Anyway, I feel like you on alot of fronts, but... did you like what you heard enough to give it a shot, or is it out? Its your call, we need someone to fill the blank.
