Multiple Channels with MultiMix12 USB?

I'm using a Multimix12 USB. I can't figure out how to run multiple channels into my computer. I'm using Ableton Live or GarageBand. It only shows a Left/Right Stereo and a Mono for each channel. I want to use 3+ channels but give each track its own input (track one, channel 1; track two channel 2, track 3, channel 3, etc) . I've done this with every other interface so don't know what the problem is.

I've changed my preferences and everything but still nothing. I tried to download a driver but couldn't find anything for the multimix 12 so got the multimix8 USB driver. The driver said it couldn't find anything hooked up.

Anyone know what the problem is?
