Studio 24 - can this be salvaged????
I have an Alesis Studio 24 mixer. I turned it on tonight and all the red mute lights and green level lights went on at the same time and stayed on.
Mute switches and solo switches do nothing. Cables are all good. Even banged on the case to no avail. I can hear my keyboard coming through very faintly. Other than that there is a hum emitted from the main outs. My thoughts are this board is fried. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I thought I'd read somewhere about the lights issue but I can't remember. I'm thinking these kinds of problems are probably common so I'm curious to know what it could be. I'll probably shop for another mixer on eBay. I kind of like the Yamaha MG124CX mixers.... Be nice to pick up another Alesis for cheap though..... |
