Adat lx-20

I just purchased a LX-20, which was working fine before being shipped. It was not put into shipping mode,and now it will not except a tape. I put one in,and it ejects it right back out,and I get the "error 00" message. I tried a half dozen tape,and they all eject back out. I put it into shipping mode and back out, but it still does the same thing. I talked to a tech,and he said he never heard of the 00 code,and I don't find it on any error code lists. I have a few days to return it,but would like to keep it and get it fixed if it's not too expensive. Any help would be great,Thanks!!

Obviously the tape transport on your LX20 got damaged in shipping. Don't waste your time dealing with repairs. Send it back for a refund ASAP.

Thanks for your advice ! I have shipped it back and got a full refund. Also have already bought another one. Thanks again.
