I/O 2 wont work with Cubase 4
So i have an I/O2 which works fine in every single way apart from the fact that I cannot get it to respond in Cubase. I get no input or output and get no response form any volume indicators in Cubase.
It works perfectly in adobe audition, ableton live and audacity, as well as just as a regular sound card. This leads me to believe that I dont have VST connections and/or my device setup properly in cubase. I cant however figure out how to get them right, despite reading and watching every tutorial I can get my hands on. Could anybody give some advice on how to get it up and running? any help would be appreiated ![]() |

Its an Alesis IO/2. and yes, both inputs and outputs are using the same name in the VST connections window. im beginning to think its a hardware problem, but that cant be right as Cubase comes with the interface. must be something im doing wrong
