how do u

i dont know how to punch in....ive tried in GB and logic but for some reason it wont play the ssound a measure before my fuck up....it just is silent and then records at the spot i want it too....if nebody can tell me wut im doin wrong in either program and if not....how do u do it in cool edit

In Audition you select the area you want to punch in to and then right mouse click and select 'punch in'

Put the cursor a little before the punch in location and press record.
AA plays and then records when it gets to the punch in spot.
