Hot Spot monitors?

The guy at Sam Ash recomended Galaxy Audio Hot Spot Monitors, for use monitoring music, while playing drums.

Two 5 inch full range per box, I prefer full range if they are good full range.

I asked it they could handle high volume, he said yes.

Just thought I'd see if anyone has tried these?

One guy who plays frums for me loves the hot spots, one does not like to use them. I think you can hear the music very well through them, but you cannot "feel" the music coming from them. That is the beef the one guy has, he still likes using my 15" wedges for monitoring. Try them out, if you don't like them return them!

Have you tried them on the floor, facing slightly up this will reinforce the bass considerrably.

I like the idea that these puppys don't have any tweeters, and are allmost full range.
