I posted a similar ques. under mic.'s but as I'm new to this BBS I think it better belongs here. My ignorance knows no bounds and will remain that way after this -but I'm desperate. By next thurs. (6/7) I need to burn a CD or make a tape of some basic Gilbert & Sullivan tunes to go along with a parody my family is presenting to my mother on her 90th b'day. I found just what I need at www.broadwaymidi.com, can include them in a playlist and library and play them till the cows come home but cannot get them to record on adaptec burner (built-in) . I realise this is all basic stuff for the the people I see on this BBS but maybe somebody out there will take pity on me and tell me how to get these tunes on some medium I can carry with me. I don't know if there is a way but I will even go buy a mike ( which i don't have) and record it off the speaker if that is necessary but I would prefer something of a little higher quality though nothing special is required. please help

Thanks, nattn I will try your suggestion ASAP from my office' I'm at home now. New query tho; From home using, same path, trying to get same music from same site I get "data invalid " instead of sound. Is it sound card difference between two machines? If you don't have a clue just ignore this I was just hoping you might know. Anyhoo thx much

Yeah, It sounds like maybe your media player is not compatible with midi, or maybe your sound card can't handle midi.
Good luck on the project. |
