I have the universal audio plug ins- plate reverb, LA-2A compressor, 1176 compressor, neve 1081 eq, pultec eq, precision limiter. I use the plate reverb, neve 1081 eq, precision limiter, and LA-2A on everything I record. The cool thing is the UA cards have their own CPU power supply. The sonic quality of my recordings have dramatically increased since I got these things. Walter

You probably put them in the wrong directory on your computer. Try finding out where the folder is and move them there. They should work....

blockfish is nice freebie comp/limit...imo. but i don't know if its your Vista causing problems with it, i've never used Vista.

i know I went to XP-64bit and it caused more problems than it was worth.

good luck!
