Driving me Crazy!! - 16+ channel FW

Hi guys - I am ready to shoot someone

I am looking for a combo mixer / firewire recorder - here is have I have found in order of preference

Presonus Studiolive 1642 - No stock in Australia
Phonic Helix 24 (mkii/universal) - No stock in Australia (both models)
A+H ZED R16 - Too expensive
Mackie 1640 - Lacking in features / very expensive in Aus

are there any other suggestions for items that have firewire recording and have at least 12 analouge inputs with pre amps???

Sucks there is such a huge wait for studiolives over here

I'm in Australia and I am looking at the Presonus Studiolive 1642 to use as a mobile recording rig and for live sound. Paitently waiting.

You could buy one in from the US, but the voltage has to be factory configured so if a local tech can't do it you will need a 240 to 100 volt transformer.

Or try the UK? Voltage is correct.

Cheers

Alan.

The Yamaha is a completely different piece of equipment. The 1642 is a complete digital mixing desk, with onboard everything.
