Homerecording Site Slooow?

It's crawling. Anyone else, or just me?

At the expense of sounding boring, national statistics show that the first week of July is the highest week for vacations (including Thanksgiving). That might play a part in why the site is so slow.
Which really bothers me because this site is a wealth of information- and I am very impressed with how any question, no matter how basic is treated with interest and respect.

Overall web traffic may be higher but that's not a factor in what's going on here which is the same old dusty, overflowing servers that Dragon probably bought at a garage sale somewhere for 5 bucks, are still being used until they explode and everything that has ever been posted here, lost.

Yes, Dragon sold this site to Audio-fanzine and they supposedly tuned everything up but that tune up sure didn't hold for very long as almost any page view or posting action is taking 2 minutes to execute.

If any of you guys have made donations to this site to help it stay afloat, I would suggest you all hire a lawyer to sue for your money back as these clowns are taking your money and buying crack with it.

The administration of this site sucks. Period.

Real slow for over a month now.

Oh, yeah, slow as moleasses.

So, these three moles are walking along, and as they pass a sugar plant, they decide to peek into a window. Thing is, the window is too high for them to see into, so two moles stand on the shoulder of the third.

"(sniff, sniff.) Hmmmmmm, I smell sugar!," one of the window-peeking moles says.

"(sniff, sniff.) Hmmmmm. I smell syrup!" the second mole says.

"(sniff, sniff.) Hummmmph!" the third, lower mole says. "I smell MOLE ASSES!"

I blame all this latency on a digital server. My tape machines never have this problem.
