Superhero (Original)

Ok. This is one of those songs that I just blurted some words over a piano part I came up with, and then added the rest of the instrumentation. I am actually pleased with the way it turned out, despite the fact that it is pretty much a goofing around song. Tell me what you think.

Superhero

Cute song, Adam.
Great songwriting as usual, I thought it was very Beatles-inspired. No nits from me regards recording, nice quality.

I dunno man. This one's kind of cheesy. The mix sounds good, but this sounds like something from a children's album.

Well, actually I agree. I think I sort of went for that kind of thing. I few bands that I really like made kids albums, and I kind of had those in mind making this one. Thanks for the comment!

Some of my fav bands to appeal to Kids - Jonathon Richman (& Modern Lovers v2 I was using I'm A Little Aeroplane back in '79 for school), The Cockroaches (became the Wiggles), TMBGiants (Racist Friend, Particle Man - for years I've used those songs with kids), Randy Newman (Short People is a GREAT song to teach about the silliness of prejudice).
This is a nice ditty - has a good juxtaposition of cute sounds & dark ideas.
Keep rolling them out. You can go back later & tisy up, augment, remix.

Thanks a lot Rayc. Glad you like it. By the way, I am also a big Randy Newman fan, and TMBG as you know.

I believe I have heard one example of this. It was the song 'Love Story". I thought it was pretty good.
