Master track as WAV from Tascam 2488 MK1

hi,
my problem is, that I did a good song, i mastered it on the Tascam 2488 (not the Neo!!) and want it to send to a mastering studio to master ist perfectly. but the problem is, that I can only send the unmixed tracks to the PC, what can I do???
Help!!!

You clone your 2 master tracks to 2 tracks on the 2488 (I always use tracks 23/24). Then you copy those 2 tracks to the partition so you can transfer them to your PC via USB. It's all in the manual.

hi, thanks, and this is also posible with the Tascam 2488 which is not the neo or MKII? I cant find it in the manual...

Yes, I also have the 2488 (not NEO or MKll). It should be in the manual about "Cloning tracks".

Basically, go into the "EDIT TRACK" menu, choose "CLONE TRACK". Use the wheel to select "MASTER", and then use the wheel to select the 2 tracks you want to clone the master to (Make sure you choose empty tracks or you'll wipe out and replace whatever was on those tracks).

From there you export those 2 tracks the same way you'd export any tracks.
