Recording a CD From the HD Using Masterlink

I am able to record to the Hard drive just fine but when I download to a cd I go through all the steps and the Masterlink tells me the recording is successful but when I play the cd back the Masterlink says blank media. I have to be missing something and I have read the manual but seem to be at a loss. Please Help.

Hi. Hope i can help here. I own both the HD24 and the Masterlink and use both daily. First(and this may sound Dumb), are you putting the cd in the drive right side up?(don't laugh, I've done it!). Second, What cd media are you using? Cheap brands (office depot) tend to have more errors). Other than this I am not expert enough to suggest other possible remedies. Oh, is the HD in cd mode when you play back? Is it in HD mode when you burn?
