Any Lynx Two/Sonar 7 users

I've had to replace a Motu 828 MKII that had a FW problem.

Well I figured I'd go with a RME or Lynx and choose the Lynx
because of the AD/DA conversion, and I'm really getting tired
of FW.

Well the original install went okay but I can't seem to update
the firmware for the Lynx, it keeps telling me I already have
the current version. The Lynx mixer shows the firmware being
from 2007 and the website shows 2008.

I've got it in a XP 64 bit quad core system.

There is a lot of popping/drop outs so I know the newest
nightmare is just beginning.

some info for sonar and lynx two

I thought I would post this tidbit of info I ran across regarding the above.

Lynx Two users need to go into advanced audio properties and put a
check mark by ASIO reported latency, then go to manual offset and put
a -215 in there. Note this is for a 256K buffer at running at 44.1 or 48K.

BTW- the card is incredible. The first thing I noticed was when your inputs
spike or get a little to hot instead of getting that terrible digital noise you
get a slightly distorted sound in proportion to how much your going over.

Hope this might help someone should be good for Sonar 7 & 8.
