Vertical line, transport play mechanism
How can I stop the movement of the page as I am listening to something? For instance, say I am in staff view, or any view for that matter I guess, and have a song that is 8 measures long. I click play. I want to listen to the song while I look at measure 8. I want to study that measure visually while I listen to the song. The problem I have is I may see whats wrong with measure 8, but before I can adjust the bad note in measure 8, it moves me back to measure 1. I like to look at different measures to see whats going on in the big picture, while I am listening to the piece as a whole. Does this question make any sense? It sure is hard to describe.
Please, please help. Please! ![]() Thank you very much, and oh, I am new here. My first post. ![]() |

Perhaps you are zoomed-in too far horizontally; check out the zoom tools during playback.
Or perhaps look into using the scrub tool. |
