mediocre, at best. try playing with dynamics and change up the structure once in a while. hell, drop the beat! an old trick that still works. i make beats using FL8, as well as a few other programs but mainly use it just for the drums n percussion. keep at it. the more songs you finish the better you will get at composing. i'm not saying it's all wack, i'm just sayin there's not much variation and the beats are very redundant. keep at it, tho!

Hey man,
Just some positive critique for you. It sounds pretty thin to me, I suppose its the midi. If you can, I'd spring for reason or something like that. Something that brings a bigger sound. One thing that stuck out to me was that the tracks seemed redundant, but again I don't listen to rap so that may just be what you're going for. I mean I know there is supposed to be lyrics going on top, but creating some more dynamics would be good. Don't give up though, we all have a lot to learn (I know I do!). It takes courage to put yourself out there like that, so kudos to you. Best of luck to you man,
