Punching on a 38
Does anyone out there know if there is a punch mod for a tascam 38. Punching in with the transport buttons is fine but to punch out you have to either stop the tape or disable the function select. I know I could use a foot switch but I like using the buttons and I'm not sure about the gaps.

Been some time since used, but I tried the other day and am having trouble using the punch in and out with the pedal. I can not hear the track I'm trying to re track. I'm sure it's the way I have my mixer. I have a Fostex 450 8x4x2 It's ok but I want a Mackie 1604 with the expander. I understand that would be a good upgrade for me.
