I'm listening on cheap pc speaks at work....

I can't hear enough bass guitar.

Background guitars sound thick and fat. Is your multiband compression at work here? Sounds great.

Looking forward to some vocals.

YOu know, the kit sounds... just kidding

Nice tune bro, in composition and feeling. At 01:49, I think that's the best part, the harmony of the guitars with the keys please me a lot.

On the recording, guitars sound fine but I think they could be more separated. I assume you're putting some stereo reverb to glue both axes. Maybe you put an stereo reverb to each track and then pan it to taste... don;t know, like

LFT GTR: L 100 R 30
RGT GTR: R 100 L 30

Snare could be more agressive. A little enhance on the hight to the kick will give it more snap.

Would you mind to raise the bass a little?

Repost it, sisplau.

Cool groovy tune, Jeff!
Bass sounds Ok on my system and the drums aren't all that bad. Love the guitar work and sound. Thing is just begging for a rockin' vocal. The song kicks ass!

Sure...this is prelim....need an ear check cuz I'm half-deaf. Appreciate the feedback.....the spread [there is verb...just not a lot],pop in snare, mo bass:
check,check, check

use original KRK Rockets...antique trapazoid things...$80 on Craigslist!. A little heavy in the bottom....and my room isn't basstrapped well...

Just finished raw vox.......maybe finish it tonight!

I will try to make vox rock...but I'm cursed with Donny Osmond stain.....
Tx

Oh yeah, the Strats L&R were played into a $100 Line6 pod....a setting I liked "British Crunch" or something. I boosted the treb and cut the bass at input....that's the raw recording...unwhacked post-track.

Updated: vocal version master....scootched the bass up, changed out the snare and the bass drum, spread L&R a bit and added verb...over what was on there...Lex lg hall...

Added some other verbs too. And stuff I can't remember.

Apologies to SRV, Carlos, and David Bowie.

ok...mix nits...

I could do without the drum intro and even the vocal dialog. Gimme that ld gtr on some opening riffs and hit into the song. It's all good after that to me. (unless you get Superior 2.0, Addictive drums...or something like that)

Yeah...time to shake some of the wormy apples out of the tree. :^)

I was just listening to that new metal recording on another thread. I might pump the drums up.....I'm inspired.

Maybe it's like eating food someone else cooked...it always tastes better than my own.....
