How to start with house/electro music on Sonar?
Hi to @ll the Sonarists!
I'm quite familiar with Sonar 7 pro in makin' music based on real sounds/instruments, but I'd like to try a different genre. The problem is that I don't have a a clue how to do it, which instruments to use, to achieve a typical house/electronica groove & timbre. Does Sonar itself have built-in synthesizers, or should I use some ready-to-mix samples? And how to do it? Or some looping feature, which I have never used either? PS. I'll have to start with midi keyboard - and here I need huge help. Will Sonar play any sounds/samples with the keyboard plugged in, or it needs a dedicated software to play notes? PS. II As a guitar-player I'm also new to any keyboard, so I need to learn how to play it at all - online course needed :-) Guide me Folks! mike
