Alesis midiverb 2 !!!!!!!

so i purchased an older midiverb 2 from a friend with no power supply, and iam guessing its a unique power supply? seems more like a 8th inch jack like on a pair of head phones. the multi use power supply i have wont work. Any help?

just did some searching on google, and it looks like a regular 9v power supply, i believe its reversed polarity though, I have the midiverb 4 and its reversed polarity

That would be the Alesis P2 power supply. The specs of these have ranged from 9VAC/850 mA to 10VAC/750 ma. Some models of the Midiverb II have the barrel connecter (P3) and later versions the mini-phone connector like you have (P2).

The only difference between the P2 and P3 is the connector.

Google Alesis P2 power supply or MIdiverb II power supply and you will see plenty of results for OEM and aftermarket power supplies.
