XLR/TRS Wall Mounts (aka Mic outlets)...

Peace, and hope everyone's well. Just want to grab from general info and throw out some questions to people who are familiar with this situation already...

So I'm currently constructing an Iso booth using an empty room (acoustically adjusted and completed), and wish to get the signal from the iso booth (mic) into the amp/interface that is being used to mix and record, and also send the aux/headphone signal from the console into the iso booth for headphones.

Basically, I want to use Pro Co wall mounts so that the cables can plug into a jack on the wall... but, I realized that I have to solder the mic jacks (the back of the two mounts) to eachother and run the wire through the wall...

So I was wondering a few things:

Does it matter which company you purchase the Wall Mic Jacks from (quality-wise?) If so, what are some suggestions or recommendations?

... also...

Soldering... is there anything I should look out as far as soldering goes? As in, is there a specific kind of soldering I should use? Does certain solder take away from the quality of the mic/mic cables? Any suggestions on which cables to solder to certain pins?

Help would really be appreciated.
