How do i get it to work? Haha
Ok, here goes.. I have an Alesis DM5 Pro kit, and i have bought the Surge Cymbals to go with it. The Ride cymbal is the only cymbal that has a "dual-zone" trigger correct, and I have the Audio L/R Splitter which it says I have to use. Now, to use the Bell and Bow as different channels, I need a splitter cable which i have. I have connected it all together properly, and sometimes it picks one trigger up when the other side of the cymbal is struck, then sometimes it dosn't pick the bell up at all. I've studied the manual and all it says is mess with the x-talk, velocity and sensity etc. to get it all working. I'm struggling a little on the parameters and wondering if anybody has actually got it working properly?? Thanks in advance, and I hope i have posted this in the correct forum lol. Cheers. Chriz. |
