New Rokits set up, finally.

I finally got my new monitors set up. I need a new desk at some point, my Z-Rack w/t wood and end tables from a yard sale, are not big enough. Plus I need something that looks better. But this works for now.

Nice.

How much different do the Rokits actually sound though?

Than my cheap Behringers 2031a's ? Well my mixes on the Behringers were always Bass heavey. And I would always have to back of the bass for it to sound good on other systems. I have not mixed yet on the KRK's, but when I auditioned monitors at the stores and in my room, the KRK's showed my mixes to be bass heavy. So hopefully on future mixes, the bass will translate better. I know there will still be a learning curve. As far as the Rokit 5's, they were to cute to pass up.

Ya got a cool set up man. Looks like the kind of place you could go in and immediately feel some creativity flowin.

I have a question tho...where'd ya get your monitor stands?

Guitar Center $59.99. They are cheaper at Musicians Friend. $49.99 for two. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.c...ree?sku=452067

I've seen those. Hmmm... They look beefier in your pics. That's a good thang.
Thanks man...

Nah. Room is pretty good. I have many traps on the wall and ceilings. If my room was bass heavy then I would be mixing my stuff with not enough bass when played elsewhere. It was the opposite.
