Just copped my first monitors and im lovin these bastards! At first i was like, damn, i just dropped 550 on some speakers that make all my music sound boring. But for the first time I can put more trust in my ears when making music. Anyway, below is the first track I have created from the ground up mixed through the new speakers...

My new purchase has really fueled a new equipment lust however and I am in dire need of replacing this punk ass studio project B1. I need something that suits my voice well. My verse is the first and on the chorus. What are some mics you think would be a good fit for my voice in the $300-500 range?

good lookin on the feedback dude. we scriptin out the video for this song and we shootin in next few months. got a rooftop fight scene during the outro to the track that we are choreographing =P yeah, we some crazy cats.

i can dig u on the chorus. id say large majority of my tracks have a "learning curve" but they seem to take on a life of their own once the listener gets acclimated u know

I do agree with Gully on the hook...ya'll have nice verses.. I just feel the hook won't do it for the song.. but i don't know it might grow on people..
