Great deal on NOS 1/2" tape

Not my auction and I don't know the seller in any way, just passing along a real good deal for someone on the lookout for new 1/2" tape:

BASF 911 is the good stuff and @ $40 / tape, on what looks like those precision 6 screw metal reels, is a no brainer. What's more is that the seller will do 3 tapes for $105! I'd be all over this one if the exchange and shipping wouldn't be so expensive.

Again, I'm not vouching for the seller, just the deal.

Here's another one... $49.95 plus shipping. The shipping is a bit high, but maybe you could talk them into sending Media Mail (less than $5.00 if they have a box) or the regular long Flat Rate Priority Mail box, which would be $9.30. This is good stuff... BASF with the "By EMTEC" logo on it. I would buy it myself if I didn't already have too much tape.

The same RMGI branded SM911 would be $81.70, including shipping from Xiat. I like Xiat, but I wouldn't pass on a good deal for NOS BASF/EMTEC.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd just tack on here with a request: if anyone has some unused 1.5mil, 1/4" tape (not 1/2"), on quality 10.5" metal reel, for sale, then shoot me a PM.

Never got a chance to get back with the seller. Had a heart attack around 5:00PM that day. The doctor said it was a BIG one. No joke. Tonight is my first day back from the hospital. Couldn't believe it happend to me, guys/gals PLEASE take care of your self and loved ones! Mods, hope it's OK to post this here, this is where my home is!

gerard, are you serious?? OMG!!! Thank God you're alright!

Look into the traditional Mediterranean diet, stay away from the bad stuff and exercise moderately, is what I would recommend. I'd especially focus on quality monounsaturated fats to replace the bad kind, like saturated animal fats and margarine.
