new career move.

hey all.. im thinking about crapping my promotion business and going in to becoming a 'propper' producer/record company. i know it will mean alot more work and i cant just decide to do it... there will be alot for reading up and such i need to do before undertaking this new role. but please can you advise me on how i can go about this change.
also any ideas as to what to call myself.....

Number 1 thing in all business. Make sure you do the market research. Are you positive you can make more money doing? Who are your customers? How much are they willing to pay? Is that what you expected? After that. Work your ass off and good luck!
