Linking 2488 to external equalizer
I have a 2488 MkII and just purchased a Behringer Ultragraph FBQ-3102 Equalizer.
What is the best way to connect and utilize internally in the 2488? Thanks |

Use "effects" send 1 on the back of the 2488 to go out to your EQ.
Bring up the fader on the track you want to 'export' for effect. Then take your EQ "out" and patch it back into one of the 2488 mic inputs (trimmed down to line level) and assign the input to an empty track on the 2488. Hit the 'send' button on the front of the 2488 to bring up the 'soft menu' screen. Select the track you have chosen as your 'inbound' track for the EQ return, and bring up the software pot (send 1 on the display) until you hear the effect. Depending on whether you are listening pre- or post-fader, you may have to raise the actual fader on the inbound track as well. That should do it. C. |
