Tascam 388 Transport Problem
Hey guys. I have recently decided to re-enter the realm of analog recording (I used to have a 38, TSR-8, and M-320b). I always wanted a 388, and have found one, but unfortunately it is not working. The transport controls are not responding. What do you think I am looking at here in terms of getting it fixed?

Check the fuses!

Dave,
Where are the fuses located? How many are there, and what kind? I'm assuming this is a Radio Shack purchase....

Under the top cover.
Most, as I recall, are 3A Slow-Blow type fuses.
You should verify that when you get under the covers.
